Greetings

I picked up a camera when I was 6 years old and fell in love with it. As a Boy Scout, made a box camera and was just hooked. As I grew older and found the cost of photography falling on my pocket, I slowed down. Still in love with the capture of the beauty I found everywhere around me, I became a fan of sketchbooks. It was hardly the same. Life happened and a couple of lifetimes passed and here came digital. That once closed door opened and it has been a pure bliss ever since.

As megapixels grew and technology followed, I found limitless possibilities swirling in my head and dancing on my screen. The world was open to my interpretation and I became a free soul hungry for every opportunity that my eyes could see.  After years of shooting for the Laurel Magazine, I found the body of my work was of interest to people who needed to capture something for use in their creative efforts or a keepsake for their remembrances.

I was a school teacher for the Sciences in Secondary schools with years of teaching adult education in technology and Science. From this, I learned how to convey information and see things differently. Could explain why Apple is my choice and song of fandom.

Snippets in My Life

My good fortune has been to not be settled into one focus of subject. By having to stretch and get the shot in so many diverse situations and conditions, I have found the joy in the challenge. I have one goal and that is to find that sweet spot which speaks.
